Consider Knock Down

Why consider a knock down rebuild?

If you’re happy with the location, size and features of your existing block of land but aren’t happy with the house that’s on it, a knock down rebuild is a great option for keeping what you like and replacing what you don’t. A knock down rebuild project gives you your modern dream home on the block of land you already know and love. The knock down rebuild route is also popular with investment properties that require redeveloping.

With proven experience in knock down rebuild projects in greater western Sydney and innovative, contemporary home designs, ANSA Homes is ready to partner with you to deliver your new home just the way you like it.

Think smart with your knock down rebuild

Most knock down rebuilds happen in areas where you have older houses on larger blocks of land. So when considering a knock down rebuild, think smarter and consider a house & granny flat design.

A house and granny flat design is an ideal choice for a knock down rebuild for three reasons:

Think Smart 1

It future proofs your home for your growing family and gives you the peace of mind that as your family grows your home grows with you. A house & granny flat design from ANSA Homes provides you flexible floorplan options for multi-generational living, delivering space without compromising on privacy for your family members.

Separate accommodation under the one roof means that you can plan ahead for aging in place. As an option for you to downsize in your later years, leaving the main home to your children or as a rental property. Or for accommodating elderly parents who can be close by, but still maintain their independence.

Think Smart 3

It can deliver a rental income for you straight away to help supplement your own mortgage repayments, while also providing on the above two options in the future, should you need it.

Rebuilding vs. Renovating

There are a range of pros and cons to be considered when weighing up whether you should knock down rebuild or renovate your existing home. It is important to understand which will best suit your needs and deliver the dream home you’re picturing in your mind.

Often, the cost to renovate can be as much as it would be to build a new home, but without actually providing you with the brand new home. You can go up, out and sideways with an existing home, but you’re still dealing with the same structure, the same foundations, the same old wiring and plumbing.

With a knock down and rebuild, you don’t have to settle for compromises. You can build your dream home, just the way you like it.

Where we build

ANSA Homes takes pride in building the type of home meant for living. From the north west to the south west of Sydney, ANSA will build a home that revolves around your lifestyle. By getting to know you we can tailor any of our designs to suit your needs. You can find out if your land is within the ANSA Homes build area by simply reviewing our build map.

Whether you’re looking to knock down and rebuild on your current land, or if you already have the block of land you want, then it is time we talked. If you are considering a knock down rebuild and are located outside of our build area, contact us anyway as we still may be able to assist.
