What site costs can I expect?

Site costs are something that may or may not be included in your fixed price contract. Site costs are essentially anything to do with your land that your builder needs to understand and cater for in order to build the home that you have chosen.

Site costs can include:

• Reports that are required to understand all aspects of the site you are building on.
• The amount of soil that will either need to be removed or brought into the site.
• How deep your piers are to ensure that the foundations and slab are stable and where they are to be positioned.
• The type of concrete slab that will need to be laid for your home.

It is important that you establish all these costs upfront with your build before committing and signing a contract to build any home in Sydney whether it be a single storey, double storey home or a granny flat.
